What to keep in mind
Installation is simple, but the heating window is fussy. Check socket condition and reflector cleanliness—pitted reflectors and loose contacts will still give you uneven heating, even with a brand-new lamp. Confirm voltage at the terminal, too. Under-voltage shortens lamp life, and over-voltage drives drift. Give it a warm-up period before the heating profile fully settles, and keep spare lamps on hand for planned changeouts. When you match the OEM lamp’s parameters, that’s the quickest route to stable output.
