Power, Voltage, and a Size That Makes Sense
This heater runs at 400V, which is a big deal if you’re wiring into industrial circuits. Higher voltage usually means lower current, and that can make your control panel a little less crowded. You can often get away with smaller wiring and smaller contactors. And it’s seriously punchy. At 2500W, you get a lot of heat packed into a compact tube. So you get serious output without taking up a lot of space. The length—300mm—was chosen on purpose. It slips into tight spots, so it’s ideal for narrow heating zones and those cramped machine bays.
Built to Take the Heat (And Keep It Going)
Inside, the halogen element lives in a quartz envelope. That’s important, because it can handle fast temperature swings and high operating temps without blinking. There’s also a reflective coating that pushes more energy forward. Less gets wasted sideways, so more of it lands on the target. And the R7s connector? It’s a straightforward, standard fit. That means it drops right in as a replacement on many existing fixtures—no drama.
Where It Shines (And What to Keep an Eye On)
You’ll see this configuration a lot in PET blowing and similar plastic processing steps. It’s all about quick, repeatable heating that keeps cycle times steady. The response is fast, so warm-up is shorter. And because it’s compact, mounting is simpler. Just one thing to remember: with 2500W at 400V, you’re concentrating a lot of heat. Make sure your machine’s cooling and thermal management are up to the task, so nearby components don’t get cooked.
